About
Pixel Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other screenshots of whatever we were playing on the train. At some point we decided to write things down properly, and the site grew out of that habit. We still argue about scores, which is probably a good sign.,We cover every genre we can get our thumbs on: puzzles, RPGs, strategy, racing, quiet simulators, the lot. If a game runs on a phone, it's fair game for a review. We don't stick to one type because our readers don't either.,Every game here gets played, not skimmed. We aim for at least a few real sessions before writing a word, and we note when a game changes after an update. If we didn't finish something or bounced off it, we say so.,Nobody pays us to like a game. When we do get a code or early access, we mention it in the piece. Otherwise everything is bought or downloaded the same way you would.
